How do you ensure you have a healthy dog? Do you feed your dog premium quality food, or preferably fresh raw food that you may make yourself? If so, that’s great - your dog health care steps are on track. Exercise and love are also very important to your dog’s health. Yes, love. Dogs are very social animals, and they love to be with you, spending time with you.
Alternative, or holistic, medicines are gaining popularity with healthy dogs (and their owners), because guess what? They really do work.
Healthy dog food is really important for your dog. In fact, it’s the very basis of having a healthy dog.
Fresh food is best for your dog, and raw food is at the top of the list. There are a number of premium dog foods available, and many more very poor quality that actually harm your dog’s health.

Yorkshire Puppies
If you're a yorkie lover, you probably already know everything there is to know about AKC yorkshire terriers, and specifically the breed standard for yorkie litters. You've probably viewed hundreds, if not thousands, of yorkie pictures, whether tea cup yorkies, or toy yorkshire terriers or the baby face yorkie. Yorkshire terrier breeders breed various types of yorkshire puppies, including again, teacup yorkshire terriers, tiny yorkies, and so on. You might even be familiar with the yorkshire terrior (a play on words)!
Many yorkie lovers have a preference for one particular type of yorkshire terrier, but other enthusiasts love them all. Yorkie breeders tend to specialize in one or two particular types, but many yorkie owners have a selection!

Pet Food Recalls - What Really Happened?
Do you want to know what I find most galling of all in relation to the dog food recalls and cat food recalls of recent weeks? Menu Foods and other pet food manufacturers were well aware that there was contamination in many pet foods several weeks before the dog food recalls began - yes, that’s right - well before any pet died.
And do you know what’s even worse, is that Menu Food and others chose then to test the contaminated food to see whether or not they would need to disclose the contaminated pet foods to the public. How did they test the food? On dogs and cats. Yes, they killed animals to see whether the animals would die.
Shocking, isn’t it? Horrifying, even. It very clearly shows how much these pet food manufacturers care about our pets - zero. All they’re interested in is profits. Nothing else.
